Default flex additive

Exactly how much flex additive is added to base/clear when painting flexible fenders and bumpers? And which is better to mix it with, base or clear?

Directions by manufacturer. Careful. The more the more likely to run.

yup like he stated it should be stated in the tech sheets for that material. If you add too much it will stay soft for a long time.

It only goes in the clear not the basecoat. Like other have said it depends on the manufactor of the product you are using.

Whatever brand of paint you use should have a flex for that specific type. I know Sikkens works different than your regular flex additives that dry off over time. Sikkens makes hinge like molecules that allow flexibility throughout the life of the paint. So if it was me i would go with sikkens. You never know when you will bump into one of those parking bars and bend your bumper.
