Default Flat Black Paint

When you paint a car flat black, do you apply clear coat afterwards?

the flatting clear he is talking about is made by ppg, i forgot the product number but you can choose certain degrees of gloss with that clear
or
you can choose hot rod flatz paint, a friend of mine just did his lead sled in it, it was easy to mix, easy to spray, and its uv protected, check them out, allot of colors to chosse from too

PPG Concept 2060 Flexed and Flat Clear. Get a product sheet with it. It will tell you how to mix it for different degrees of gloss, ask someone that works at the place you purchased it from. By itself it is flat and I mean FLAT, no gloss what so ever.
