How to remove RTV from Whistlered Lights?
What is the best way to remove the RTV that I used to seal my lights after Whistlering them bout a year or two ago? I am wanting to get new lenses.

just buff them im in the process right now lol.
1st take out headlight assembly
2nd clean with alcohol
3rd wet sand with 400 grit paper then wet sand with 800 then again with 1000 and finally again with 1500 or 2000
4th go to napa and buy ccp 5 min head lamp restorer. it comes with a piece that goes on your drill and 6 pads you just add water to
5th buff the whole light with 1 wet pad, then apply a gritty tooth paste or rubbing compound to a fresh pad and do it all again
BAM! your done now just go over it with scratch x and it looks brand new.
only takes 30 min per light
