Talking Got my WS.9 Hood Painted: Pics Inside!

This has been a long time coming. This car has been the one I always wanted. I loved NBM and a WS.6 style Trans Am is the car that I always felt that this is the one and if I never buy another fun car, I would be happy.

Although orignally its a Base Trans Am, it's got all the things that make it a WS.6 to me.

Please look at he pics and make comments. I was VERY please with the work, they not only took the whole clip off to line it up perfect, they painted to look like stock and you could almost tell it has never been painted. There is slight wax dust but I will mess with that when I get a chance, It just snowed 3" here and the car is put away.

Next on the list is to do some accent/appereance mods.

Here is the list...

Remove Door Guards
Paint Calipers
Paint lettering for the Trans Am on the Door, "Pontiac" on the driver side head light cover and a "Ram Air" stencil

I haven't decided on a Silver or White Scheme, and for the hood to do a Black Bird style stripe or the Stock "RamAir" Lettering.

The Bird on the beauty plate I want to keep blue.

Thanks for looking!

Actually no I did not get it from him. Bought it used for $450, from a guy in NY state and he had it bolted on a car for 6 months (black t/a) and decided he wouldnt be able to get it painted and the gel coat had worn.

I got it home, cleaned it, and tapped all the bolt holes, and then put silicone in there to keep them rust free.

It was like 25 degrees out when I took the pics, and I didnt want to go back inside....

Looks good. I don't understand why they would take the front clip off to line it up though. that makes literally zero sense. Still looks good none the less!

It's due to the hood, you start at one point and work forward.

Plus the bumper had to have some work done.
