2000 T/A vs DEER vs DITCH
2000 T/A vs DEER vs DITCH --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So i am on the way home and going up a hill around 45mph. About 6 deer run out I swearve hit 1 miss 5 and then hit the ditch. It messed my front bumper cracked the front right fender, and the deer rolled acroos the hood denting it. The car then spun and went into a ditch backwards messing up the rear bumper and the rear fender. .. I am going to call the insurance company friday.
Questions.
Any idea how much I wil get? I am thinking new hood front and rear bumper and front right fender. I am hoping the insurance will pay to repaint the whole car, I would think they would. any thoughts?

yea that would be 1000. I am planning on doing all the body work, putting on thenew hood fenders etc. we have a paint booth at work so I mikght get our painter to help with that. I am hoping to come out even or ahead even with the 1000 ded. I would think this is around 3500 in damages?? I know a new stock hood is around 800, paint prob 1200 labor and fenders 1500?
i hit deer in mine about a year and ahalf ago and it hit the left front corner cracked the left fender and cracked the door, the replaced the fender sanded and re fiberglassed the door and repainted the hole left side and it was 2800 to get that done.
Would need to see pictures, but my blind bet is totalled. If the rear quarter panel is bent, you likely have some frame damage to add to the bill. KBB trade in value is roughly 5k, and your bill will probably be 3-4k. I wish my car would have been totalled when it got hit, multiple visits to the best body shop withing 100 miles and it's still not the same.

Hey for what it's worth, I hit a deer a few years ago in my other car, and they waived the deductable. The insurance company called it an "act of god" and covered the damage on my comprehensive instead of my collission. I have a $500 deductable, but apparently in MA they waive that for situations like deer and whatnot.
