With that Createx I didnt see anything that rly looked like it should be used for an automotive surface.

Say if I was going to airbursh a filler panel for a t/a would you sand it down air brush then rattle can clear over it and wetsand?

HOK is going to be your best paint to use. 50/50 ratio is how you reduce it to spray out good from the airbrush. Createx sux because its easy to rub off and you can pull it off with tape easy, you can't layer it well without the use of intercoat clear and to do that is just time consuming.

I would not rattle can anything. If i were you i would get a small touch up gun or a full size gun and go to town. Rattle can will never lay down like a spray gun and you will have your work cut out for you if you do use it.

1. Degrease with laquer or water with soap

2. Scotch brite red pad

3. Clean again with degreaser

4. Tack rag it.

5. Graphix

6. tack rag

7. Clear coat

You can also give it two or three coats of SG-100 HOK inner coat clear after the grafix and wait for it to dry, then light sand that with like 800grt to reduce bump. After that Clear coat and it will be slick and you wont have to worry about clearing it 5 times and wet sanding it.

thanks. my dad owns a body shop so i know how to paint and prep really well i'm actually gonna be doing the repaint on my Vette(previous owner likes to go on gravel apparently) I really appreciate the info on what colors are best to use and such. I've been really trying to get an idea because i wasn't sure what was the best paints to use and whatnot.
