painting engine bay

how much should this cost? it will be sprayed with a gun. single stage and clear. any ideas while im in there would be great also. im doing the wire mod, need to find how to do the hood latch mod. open to ideas. going for the less is more approach.

i wouldnt use single stage. i would use normal basecoat clearcoat application. also if the motors not out i wouldnt waste your time.

thanks guys yes its pulled. well whats the differense between a normal basecoat clearcoat and a single stage?

a single stage has the clear mixed in with the rest of the paint. all the cars up till the early to mid 80's were single stage. a base coat is the color and then you spray the clear on and this turns out as a better finish and able to be wet sanded and buffed with ease. also last longer.
