Default Opinions: Think its totalled?

Yup. So my girlfriend accidentally tagged my *** today, but accidents happen and at least we are both good. Her airbags deployed, she was doing 40 to 45 and I was stopped.

Claims adjuster can't look at it for several days but I am wanting to get some of you expert's opinions on whether you think it will be totaled or not. had about 124k miles but god she was in great shape.

Pics upon Request

Status: Waiting on appraisal and pimpin a charger 8-) until the claims adjuster can look at it.

I'm thoroughly impressed with how good i did against a truck with a grill guard.

Dunno man your passenger quarter looks totally destroyed. That alone is big bucks to replace right there...
Sucks.. especially since it wasn't even a stranger that hit you, just makes it worse Sounds like you are taking it OK though, I don't know if I could have been that cool about it, I probably would have blown up and made things worse.

****...i really wasn't expecting it to be a total loss thanks for the input y'all. i wonder if theres any way to get money back for the wheels/tires and mods, or at least if they'll let me go pull the bolton stuff off.

Pull off everything you can. Depending on how much you get for it and all it might be worth buying the car back just for all the mods and wheels and such. Then part out the rest of the good stuff, like pretty much the rest of the car except the back end. Fenders, mirrors, t-tops, powertrain, headlights, driver tail light even. Might actually end up ahead after doing all that. Or, buy it back and get it repaired by a really good shop.

Considering I see warping in the door, Im going to assume the frame is bent. At 124k miles the odds are theyre going to total it. Hope your girl has solid insurance

As for the truck, you may end up checking the frame on that one as well. Grill guards usually put excessive strain on the frame from the tilt when they get into an accident. May or may not have lucked out on that one, but something to think about.

WOW man.... that really sucks. I'm sorry to see that. But, I'm gonna have to agree with everyone that I doubt the insurance will repair that on a 124k car...

LOL not if I was writing that estimate. I was able to pull off 2200 a fender back in the day. I would say thats pushing 7-9k if not more.

Man i hate to see that happen, it looked like a great car
You could always try and part it out, as long as everything you bought for it is still in running order? If you do this i know id be intrested in the rims/tires!

Or you could save them and maybe do another z?

Buy it back, and swap it into a 6 cylinder body.
