Default Painting Plastics under LS1 hood. HELP

Thinking of painting my airlid, airlid base and manifold on 4th gen, What do I need to make it smooth. High build primer and plastic promoter, both, either one or what? I plan on using rattle cans for this since I don't have the equipment for a real paint job. Anyone that has done this could you post some pictures? And yes I have searched for this but can't find anything. Any help greatly appriciated.

Im not sure of the steps for the air lid. You need to make sure everything is sanded smooth and has a nice coat of primer on it so the paint will stick.

Here are a few shot of somthings i painted on my car.

front fascia support

Intake manifold, valve covers, and coils
