its a clear plastic film that they apply to areas of your paint you want protected from rock chips and such.. Alot of the ferraris and lambos that roll through my work have them on and you can barley tell they are there i just wanna see how they hold up or if anyone has experience with them on our cars??

you can usually tell, because the paint under and next to the bra will be slightly different shades, and you have to retain a totally stock front end as well AFAIK. But if bugs and chips are a huge problem, i'd say to go for it, especially on a lighter colored car

I used to work for a dealership that installed these on Hondas and Acuras, and they look really good on them. We had a machine that cut the covers for us, then we installed it onto the car. Try contacting some local dealers and see if they deal with this, and you might be able to get them to do it. its pretty expensive to do it, but you'll save the money in the long run by not having to repaint.

go ahead and do it... just dont leave it on there forever. mine is on my car, and WILL not come off unless it pulls the paint with it. my car is a 96, and prob got it put on then by the 1st owner.

i had this on my car. it was by llumar. I would compare them side by side first. The llumar is a little better quality, i think. The 3m is a little less "clear" than the llumar. I paid about 250 for it at the time. It was a while back but Im pretty sure its in that price range
