alright fellas im lookin for a stock fender for my bird
but i cant seem to find one anywhere. Im finding alot of
oem fenders. I wanted to ask you painters because i heard its not as good as getting a stock fender but the price is so much better. If i buy one of these will it still look as good and will the paint hold on them because I am not payin for it to keep on being painted? or am i better off saving my money and getting a stock one from GM.
this one says its steel i thought they were fiberglass?

Stock they're a compositite/plastic material, not metal, and your wording is a little confusing.
normally OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) is the same as stock, with the links you posted being aftermarket parts
I would try to find stock parts if it was me.

sorry got the wording mixed up but why is this that everyone recommends going stock. Does it really make a big difference? Is it noticable? Is it worth the extra 200 dollars to fork out thats my biggest question?
