Default Few questions about painting

I have a ram air hood that i repaired myself and now looking into getting it painted... I know a guy that will paint the hood but i have to get materials, its my brothers girlfriends dad and i havent spoken to him about what i need so im wondering what ill need so it comes out correctly..

I bought the paint but what else, i know i need like some sort of reducer / hardener / clear... I would of searched alot more but im on my iphone and its a pain lol. Thanks.

going to need reducer for the base and most likely the clear. the clear will need some type of hardener. Sometimes Bascoat needs an activator too. Where did you get the paint? They should should be able to tell you what you need and the mixing ratios.

u need primer sealer, your base get the more expensive stuff that doesnt need the activator, and clear which will need the activator and you will need reducer, that should do it.
