Default Need help with this paint code. PPG users come in. Lambo colors.

Ok I'm getting ready to paint my Trans am. I found on the net a bunch of paint codes for Lamborghini's. Well my Brother tried to pull them up with the paint code given but it wont pull it up to give him how to mix the paint up.

Where he works they use Sherwin Williams so that's prob why its not pulling it up.

Here is where I'm getting these codes:
http://www.lambocars.com/archive/paint.htm

I was wanting the Rosso Granata Met. 2ct PPG code 2463178.

Can anyone who paints give the code to where we can pull it up to mix it and see what it looks like? I'll end up changing something to make it different but I love the looks of it as a starting point.

Thanks, even though I doubt I will get much help with this.

My PPG chip books don't go that far back oldest I've got is for 1999. You may be SOL on this one unless someone on here works at a supply shop that carries PPG. You could always try to call PPG or a shop that carriess it, but since your mixing with a competitors material that may be a dead end as well. Best of luck, happy hunting....

Ya I actually found another color that I liked. I called a PPG dealer and I found out it is $153/qt for Rosso Metis which came on a newer Lambo. I got the code but my brother cant pull it up with their shitty computer.

Most paint shops use these paint books. You can access them for free here...

http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorlibrary/

I was going to use 2004 Maserati Rosso Bologna Pearl but instead use a Toyota color. I would like to see the RBP on a TA. Look into it...

Thats what I'm thinking of doing bc I'm planning on changing it to make it my own anyways.

Just looked into a new 2008 Lexus IS-F Matador Red Mica. Its a deep red but were gunna throw in some other stuff to make it deeper looking and also throing in some flakes. Maybe even a lil pearl, can't wait to see what we come up with.

Reason being is bc he can mix it up at his work so the price will be extremely cheap.
