How are the ram air grills removed on Firehawk hood??
I need to paint the ram air insert grills on my wife's 99 Firehawk, but I can not figure out how to remove them from the hood? Are they glued on? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I *think* they are. I have seen glue sticking out. Most likely they are epoxied in.
If they are, use very very low heat to gum them up. Then a small stiff non-metallic scraper to separate.

Yeah if your talking about the two front "nostril grills", double sided tape, I took mine off, had them powder coated, then back on with some more double sided tape made by 3m, you can get some narrow tape on eBay or your local body shop. Also while their off, a good time to detail in the ducts with some black spray paint to hide those bug guts and other splatterings...
