DS rear qtr is smashed in.... cheapest place for replacemnet pannel?
My AX and road racing track ***** car has a smashed ds rear qtr. Part of the rocker is also smashed. Rest of the car is straight and the door closes just fine.
I don't need this thing to look perfect, just decent from 50'. Where is the cheapest place to find a qtr and ~1.5' of rocker pannel? or should i just pull most of it out and slap on some bondo??
My goal is to NOT spend much money on the repair. It will most likely get scratched up again at some time anyway, so it just needs to look OK.
I don't think I can get in there to beat it out at all and think I will need a stud welder and slide hammer.
If there is somebody in the chicago area that does this stuff cheaply, let me know. I don't mind doing the work... just don't have the tools.
thanks!

i had that same issue, i went to the junk yard and they cut the whole half of a decent body for 100$
i cut the qtr and rocker off of my car by drilling out the spot welds and it popped right off
then i just cut the qtr and rocker off the part i got from the junk yard and tacked it on and made sure it lined up well then filled in the high and low spots with filler, made sure it was smooth and painted it
