Black Plastic Triangles?!?!

Default Black Plastic Triangles?!?!

ALL -

OK, what are these little black plastic triangles called (circled in attached pic) and how do I remove them so I can do a better job painting my car?

They are glued to the sail panels, I don't think you can just pop them off.

Ah, just paint over them and buy some custom ones from 6litereater....haha

They are glued on. You can remove them without tearing them up, it's just not easy. They're not that expensive from GM, IIRC.

double sided taped on, i used a flat scraper to remove them, then i retaped them and painted them black again, they were gettin dull

You can also use heavy fishing line to get them off just run in behind the panel . I just replaced mine with new ones they were $9.00 for the pass , $15.00 for the driver .

seriously why is one cheaper than the other, they are mirror images of each other, i saw the price for new one when i was repainting my car then i realized i was able to get them off without destroying them

I got brave and just slowly removed the pass side unit - I'll get to the DR side one tomorrow!
