Paint and body question

Can someone give me some insight on how to tighten up the gap between the fenders and the hood? I dont even seewhere its possible. the fenders are on good and straight but there is a gap on both sides.

I know most would probably say just find a body shop. I hate paying someone to do something that I can do myself.

Plus im CHEAP!!!

i would like to know also. my hood sits a little lower than the top of the fenders but it matches at front and back of hood...

You can try taking out the bolts along the top of the fender and slipping a couple of washers in between the fender and the backing plate the fender bolts to. This will bring the top of the fender closer to the hood.
