I think it would be a cool idea, you have the vette wheels on it already and a vette motor so why not. The only thing I would be cautious about is if the battery craps out. I didn't see the battery in the pics you put up so I'm not sure if the battery is just not there or if it is relocated so it looks alright.

You really need to click on the links in his signature... I think the last thing he's worried about is the battery crapping out.

I dont have any ideas on how you could mount it, but, with the whole making sure both actuators work at the same time issue, you could look into how they do it on mini vans that have the open/close rear hatches. Thats sorta how i think it would work, and it might be an idea on how you mount the actuators as well if you hadnt thought about it already. Just throwing ideas off the top of my head...

Any more progress on this? I had a similar idea with the hinges and connecting rod off of a 88 lesabre but without actuators.
