I have had some water leakage issues with my 03 Z06, so I have removed the interior, carpet, trim etc to track down the leaks. I have also removed the weather trim along with the metal and plastic trim parts along the doors. I plan to reseal these parts, but first I need to remove the old adhesive. How do I safely remove the adhesive that held these pieces to the FRC roof? Can I use a heat gun on low/med to soften the adhesive then remove with something that is not too harsh like goo gone etc???
Thank you,
David

Go to a local paint shop and see if you can buy an eraser wheel from them... You put it in a drill and it works excellent for removing adhesive... Do not apply too much pressure though they have been known to burn paint if you are overlyagressive with them.
