Bumper Repair tips?!
I just realized I had posted this in the wrong section. And have now decided to fix the problem myself. Does anyone have a link or tips on how to repair my bumper? The crack was there when I picked up the car, and knowing that I should have took the entire car in to have it fixed and repainted when I had the cash. At any rate, any info would be help full. Thank you
Dont mind the snow, I had to pull the car out of the shop to do some cleaning. Look at how much dirt and dust got up under my car cover...

Gonna be a pain were it goes through the line but you need to sand the paint off around the crack, bevel the edges so there are no hard lines and you get good bonding area, do the same to the back side, get some tpo bumper repair and follow instructions, sand, recoat if needed and prime

its not a safe bet it is the correct way to repair a offlien plastic, all offlien plastics
TPO/TPE/TEO/PP all need adheshion promoter, and this type of plastic is waxy so it gets real fuzzy when working with it,
i would do this
lightly grind both sides
v-groove the front of the bumper
clean the plastic with a plastic cleaner or use a amonia free glass cleaner
apply adheshion promoter, it has to dry for 15 mins
on the back side i use a plastic repair mesh, cut it to lenght, then apply over that the repair material, then on the front side
i recomend fusor products, oem approved and some of the best product around
now i let something like this set up for 24 hours if im buisy ill leave it and come back in the morning and sand the front side with 80, then 120
feather out the repair with 120, clean it again, then apply more repair material if needed, finish it off with a finishing "glaze" from fusor i believe its 114, sand that with 120, 180, 220, feather out with 220 clean with dx 330 then apply primer
there is the basics, its allot more invovled then you think takes allot of experience to repair plastic and get good results
