fixing hole
fixing hole I bought a used VFN pin on WS6 hood and the hole that the previous owner drilled in the nose is off center. It's not way off but I can tell and it will drive me crazy. I was wondering if it would be possible to fill the whole and re-drill it without having to worry about the fill cracking.
Actually if I don't need a pins in the front that would be even better. It's got 3 holes on each side and 2 in the front on either side of the nostrils I'd also like to fill. Is having the pins on each side enough. If so I guess I just need some tips on filling the finger size holes in the front.
that is a fiber glas hood? if it is get some fiber glass mat and res. grind in to the fiber glass (dont stop tell the gel coat is gone the res wont hold on it)3 inches all the way around the hole tape the back side and fill it in than do the same from the back if you can if not just make sure you get good and in to the glass
