Default 99 Formula-3 Week Transformation with New Custom Paint

I picked up a 99 Formula and started this on 3/1/10. For the past 3 weeks, I've gutted the interior, fixed the caliper paint and the other 150 things wrong with the car. I've been wet sanding the car every day for the past 10 days to get the car ready for paint. We shot the car last weekend and I'm really happy the way it came out. The color is a ford dark shadow grey metallic with a tad more silver in it. The black we used to tint it was not as dark and I got the color you see below. It's sliver with a blue tint to it. I call it Whales Vagina Mettalic. We then added a little black to accented the hood scoops, fog lights and side fender scoops. The shitty cell phone pics don't do it justice but will have more when it's complete.

When I got it. The superhawk hood was wavy enough to surf on.

Wet Sanded and Gutted

In the Booth

Painted No Clear

Painted W/Clear

All together

Quick Video of the car. Cam thats in it will coming coming out for "The Poullter"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUovx7oRotk

I'll have more pics of it completed soon. Let me know what you think of the color.

Completed as it sits today

Everything but the engine bay. With it being black, it still looks great. I still have paint left over, so if I ever decide to yank the drivetrain, I can do it then.
