Which PPG? The "shopline" formerly known as "omni" is garbage.

Looks like an aggressive wet sand. Try some 3M compound and don't burn through the clear.
2 weeks is plenty of time on the clear cure. 'Course I've blown through a good paint job with bad technique. Compounding and wet/color sanding is an art. You learn from a master.

Of course we are all going by pictures. None of us are there to touch or look at your hood at different angles to see what really happened. We're all just speculating at this point.

Try the compound before you re-shoot the clear. I assume (*** out of you and me) that you meant the clear and not the Base color coat.

And PPG paint is OK.

Are you using a sealer under the paint? Sometime you need to seal the primer before you shoot color. And you can wet sand the next day if you did it right

You don't have to wait two weeks to cut and buff, most clears require at minimum 24hrs of air dry time @ no lower than 60 degrees. You can cut and buff the next day without any ill effects. Also theres nothing wrong with PPG paints, assuming he used DBC, that is an OEM approved system.

Looking at those pictures it looks like a compound, polish issue, try using 3M Part no. 06085 rubbing compound or 06061 extra cut, and then after that use the 3M 06064 polish. It looks a little hazy to me, maybe he just used the compound and didnt polish afterward.

Looks like you need to buff more. U have not brought back the true shine. Still has sanding marks and is dull.

Well the hood got re-shot with BC/CC. One thing I forgot to mention if you would run your fingernail over the clear it would clear and then become dull again.
