Painting the front ground effects for my car with a spray can. I can get the clear to come out nice and shiny, just not with a mirror finish. What can I do to get a really reflective clear finish, doing the work myself?

Well, C. That's just it. I've read all kinds of info on why to wetsand. But specifically, are there simple steps on doing this without quickly burning through the clear?
if u have a bunch of coats of clear it should work try 1500 grit w/water and just sand a little till the texture is smooth then buff. I would start with a medium compound and a wool pad. Oh yeah makle sure the clear is really dry/

When I did my bike, I didn't get it right until I used really thin spray layers and then buffed it with 2000-3000 wet sand. Then I put on the clear coat. It worked out fine but its really hard to get a even shine.
