Some people are so stupid. I can't imagine actually deciding "Hmmm, that person pisses me off -- I'll go key their car and they'll get the message".
Sorry to see this. Fortunately it looks like most of this will buff out. If you have full coverage, insurance is also an idea however the deductible would still likely be cost prohibitive. If you're going the insurance route, you almost need to hope the entire car got keyed deep enough to repaint it all.
