Is there a way to adjust gap between hood and front bumper?

Sorry I haven't responded sooner but I wanted to put the pics on my desktop so I could add arrows and stuff to the pics to describe what I did. My wife deleted the pics off my slr and I've just been too lazy to copy them off my mac and put them on my pc.
The bumper does look good now but I notice the hood edge is higher than the bumper. Besides that the gap doesnt look as bad. it looks more along the lines of the average camaro that I see.
I did just email the pic off my iphone so I hope it shows the gap change. Here's a before/after
Here's the before I used earlier.

Another SS in Florida I looked at buying... no accidents here either but his showed a gap too. i'd say 8/10 cars I looked at had it so its fairly common. I just think it's in my head now that I focus on it that I notice it because of the gap I had when I got this ss.
