How much paint is needed for bumpers/hood/spoiler
I am going to repaint my bumpers, possibly my hood, and paint my SS spoiler that I've had for a couple years. I went to a paint supply shop and bought paint there. They sold me a quart of paint and a quart of clear with the reducers/hardeners. Both are nason, the base is a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio so I'm wondering if that's enough to paint all of that.
base coat: 8 : 1/2 : 4 to 8. To 1 gallon of color add 1/2 pint of 483-30 base coat catalyst ( 2 fl. oz. per quart ) and mix well .Reduce mixture 50% to 100% ( 2 parts paint to 1-2 parts reducer ) with 441-21 ful-base reducer.
So I'm not sure if I should reduce it to 2:1 or 1:1.
Forgot to mention its red.

i would spray a test card first to make sure its close to the rest of the car. The cheaper paints can be way off! They dont use the same mixing bases as the better line of paint and they dont always match.
