Duplicolor Metalcast
Duplicolor Metalcast So after looking around for a while now for a Sunset orange metallic caliper paint, I'm leaning towards the Duplicolor metalcast orange. Wondering who has had experience with it (on calipers would be preferred). how hard is it to apply- curing time etc? The pics I've seen look great, I just dont want my bird to be out of commission for a week
I've used the red color on my calipers. It looked good for a little whole but it fades fairly quick. I think it was mainly from the heat. I even used an engine paint first and then the silver base and then followed up with a high temp clear.
Once it was faded everyone would tell me it looked like SOM. I think I might have a pic on my computer at home. I'll see if I can find it... In the end I just powder coated my calipers
