Default plastic fender quick/temp repair

the car I'm purchasing has a ~8in crack in the fender. the seller is giving me a brand new one to replace it but just for the time being, until I have the time to tear it apart, is there an adhesive or glue that I can use to keep that crack from spreading?

...just for no more than a week or two

I manage a glass shop so I have access to silicone and urethane-based adhesives btw

TIA

First thing to do to keep it from spreading: drill a tiny hole at the very end of the crack , that should keep it from becoming longer. I can't advise on adhesives but even if you don't glue it this should help containing it.

Use this two part epoxy by 3m. Part #8115. Its panel bond glue and we use it on plastics all the time. Its some badass stuff!!!! You can glue anything together with this stuff and it's not coming apart!!!!
