how can the original hardtop be removed ?

Default how can the original hardtop be removed ?

is there any way to remove the factory hardtop, i realize it is glued on.

My younger brother did it to his 95 camaro he made his hard top into a t top he did it with a skill saw & parts from a ttop car from the junk yard he didn't have any leaks at all

Yes it can. Cut it at the ridge line near the back sail panel with a dremel and cut-off wheel. Then use a knife to cut the adhesive above the side windows. The just slowly lift up from the back towards the front, cutting the adhesive as you go. It'll eventually pop loose, then you'll have to cut the adhesive above the windshield.
