Default engine bay redo

so tomorrow i'm going to start redoing my engine compartment. i plan on smoothing and filling as many areas that need it as possible, polishing some under hood parts, relocating the fuel lines, and rerouting and tucking away a few more wires on top of the engine as possible....anyone have any tips or suggetions on things to do or not do....still need to get some paint as soon as i find a spot that does rattle can crm and wanna get some new button head bolts and stuff for fenders and nose...pls chime in with ideas that can help[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

I am about to pull my motor and paint the bay Gloss Black too...

However this may give you an idea of some things to move around while you are doing yours..

Very nice setup! Looks a lot better in the last couple pics! Doesn't look as cramped. Looks a lot more open now. I was starting to wonder if you can move your fuel lines. I think it looks good red. (contrary to my other thread.) Red looks good if it's not yours..

The first pics are "spcearle" car....The last 2 pics I posted are my car..I was just trying to give him some ideas of what all I had moved...

Fuel lines weren't too hard at all to move...just some fittings and some line..

I like the red too but mine is look pretty rough....I may just cover the motor and scuff the wheel wheels (weld up and fill holes) and re shoot it red for the time being...It is going to be a while before I feel like pulling the complete motor again...

Ok today I remembered that I hate working with filler...lol....pass side almost done smoothing out just need more sandpaper tomorrow and then cleaning and masking to lay down some primer

Im planning on doing the same thing to mine when I swap out shortblocks. Post up some pics as you go, I'd like to see it for some ideas....
