Question Need touch up paint

Picking up a diecast TA & want to paint it the color of my old TA. Mine was a teal '99.

Anyone have a spray can of this paint they are willing to part with?

Call around to the local paint shops and see if they'll mix paint and put into spray cans. I don't have one locally but Memphis does. I know you're not around here but just giving an example that you might have to try a larger city. That's your BESTEST bet.

Thanks. I can order online from Levine, but was hoping to get some super cheap or just for shipping as the Levine route would cost me more than the model.

If you have an airbrush setup then you could just go to a local body shop and get em to give you a little touch up for whatever it costs them..

If its a decent sized spot, go to Home Depot and get a Preval sprayer. You can get your own paint mixed at a shop and get some thinner. works like a spray gun and costs like $5. look it up. I painted a pretty good sized area on the pass side of my car with it and it looks great.

O'Reilly has a little aerosol can set up that you can put mixed automotive paint or model paint in and spray. Usually the smallest quantity you can buy of auto paint is a quart. Add the price of hardener and with that kind of color, you'll likely look at $80 or more. The spray can should run around $20 and a can of clear at the parts store is what, $6? $7?

The diecast car cost me $7. I'm not spending a fortune to paint it.
