Default first attempt at painting anything *pics*

friggin disaster.

I bent a connecting rod. So I had to pull the motor. I figured while the motor was out I may as well spray the engine bay, it looked like crap and there was some rust under the battery. So I sanded that crap down and sealed the bare spots. It took forever to prep!

Anyway so today I was finally ready to spray. I couldnt find the cup lid for my gun, so I was like screw it ill Just use plastic wrap and poke a little hole in the top. dumbass idea. the paint ate through the wrap and I got paint all over myself, the ground and the car. Oh well.

Ok im done complaining. heres some phone pics.

looks good, wish i could do this to mine. just don't have a reason yet to pull the motor lol. Are you going to wet sand and buff?

I think it turned out pretty good man. I did mine in rattle can black and could careless with mine looked like as long as there was no rust and looked clean. Next time Im gonna try a paint gun as I got one on sale a few weeks ago and im dying to try it out. I got a old hod maybe Ill try screwing around with

Waaaaay better than my first job. I had runs everywhere I sanded it probably twice before my buddy came and did it for me.
