How do I paint carbon fiber pieces???
I have a few parts that were only available in carbon fiber that I would like to paint. I don't like the look of carbon fiber and it will get lost on the exterior of a black car with the dark carbon fiber color they are made in. So...
How do I paint small carbon fiber pieces?
Thanks in advance.

Same procedure and painting anything else. As long as you scuff it up so the paint can stick you should be fine. Prime, paint, and clear should be the same as well as block sanding and other steps required for a nice finish.

Excellent, thanks. Looks like it's time to borrow my brother-in-law's compressor this weekend!
They are exterior actually. I don't want to draw too much attention to the pieces because I don't think everything is on the up and up with them being sold. They are fender inserts and only come in carbon fiber. You should be able to see what I'm talking about searching those words.

I suppose a link wouldn't hurt...
These are awesome in person - just too dark for a black car. Going for the silver look instead.
