Difference in 2 Body?

Are they any difference in a 98 z28 body car and a V6 Camaro 02? I am getting ready for my build and am wondering if they are any difference in the 2 bodies. If I choose the V6 body would they be any problems with putting a LSX block and a 4l80 trans and the S60 rearend in it? I figure that the K-Member will have to be changed. But are they anything else? I don't know if this is the right place to put this question. If not I will go ahead and say sorry.

I'd probably get new springs up front at least. That's a fair amount of extra weight up there. Idk if the trans mounts are different. The rearend should be the usual.

What about the 4l80 trans ? Any surprises that would hinder the transformation?

No. I am putting a stage 3 4l80 in it.

i beleive the 4L80E trans uses a TH400 crossmember. i could be mistaken tho.

the 2 car bodies are identical except for the k member and other small things. however, once stripped down to the bare chassis, they are identical.

you will have to swap all the engine wiring and computer stuff out, or if i were in your sitiuation, i would strip it bare bones and change parts as needed...example...k member...trans mount...etc. for the computer and stuff i would get a standalone system like the BS3 or MegaSquirt.
