You know whats worse than a 3rd gen?

...A LT1 4th gen.

Sorry man, you have a nice car, but you don't have to be rude to the guy cause you don't like the color.

how long did it take to strip that wheel?? lots of steel wool and let the stripper sit on in till the paint start to ripple up,,, if it goes dry re apply,, keep it thick and wet and let the stripper do the work. Keep it up the 4th wheel will go way quicker cause youll get the hang of it. same with polishing. Keep it up! good start,,, and wet sanding will get rid of that spot,, and dont use too harsh of a grit right away cause it will just take too long to polish. I think it was 400 i started with,,, and get a bucket of warm water to keep dipping the paper into,,, more water the longer the paper lasts.

IMO, new wheels are a must. The 80's wheels don't compliment the 2010 color

it took like 3 hours to take all the paint off, paint the spokes and clean up the overspray. i have all the wheels dont now i just gotta polish them. Also dropped the car 1 3/4 inches all the way around. I will post pics in the morning. havent slept yet so it might be afternoon. Thanks every one for your opinions even if i do have a **** yellow green car i still love it that s all that matters lol

It's a nice color but best suited for a two-tone. Around here, all the black guys paint their entire Crown Vic's that color then add a 4" lift kit and leave the factory wheels on.

Most important things are that it's different (I can respect that!), you like it and you're getting the satisfaction of doing it yourself!

Looks good! I would personally throw some flat black rims on there, maybe flat black stripe on hood. The black decal kit will look good with it. The color is a little bright, but the black will tone the car down alot. Please do not go chrome, look like a damn donk.

Nice project and love the originality. Keep up the good work.

Now to go the store and buy a hundred packs of ramen to eat for the month and get some rims for that bad boy!

LOL J/K

ohh yes like MR noodles,,, there like 35cents or something like that,,, I eat them different ways,,,
1. dry, uncooked, crushed up, with powder poured over and eat with a spoon,,,
2. or put in a cup or bowl add powder and add a bit of boiling water and cover for 5mins,, then eat,,really good if you only have a kettle or limited dishes.
3. or cook in water, then drain, then add powder and a little butter, mix and serve.

so say you eat on average 4-5 bags a day,, thats a little over a dollar a day,, or i think you can buy a case for 10bucks and eat it all month haha should beable to buy some wheels after a few months depending on your job. Just be carefull,,, each bag has like 2 or 3 times your daily recommended salt intake,, oppps hehe.
