Default ZR1 Caliper Paint Code

I searched and found one thread with little information. Has anyone looked into getting that color in a rattle can? I know Silver Ghost has a color that looks real close but I was wondering if anyone has done it themself or brought it to a local powdercoater. From corvette forums I gathered WA 482P or Tacoma blue 22U but Im not sure what WA means. Any help would be great.

wa doesnt really mean anything, just part of the paint code...theres 2 paint codes that are just the same color code, ie: gm white on suv.trucks...wa8624 or 50, 2 different codes but the same if that makes any sense, why gm did that i dont know

Could I use the WA to possibly get the color made up in a rattle can or if I give it to a powdercoater could they use it?

I thought the ZR1 calipers were WA 512Q(jetstream blue).

Once upon a time, at the GM parts counter you could order rattle can versions of all the paint codes. Im not sure if you can still do this though. May want to look into it.

On the Corvetteforums their basically saying its not Jetstream. Would regular paint hold up for calipers?

Ill see if i can get some images.
I used the AutoZone's blue caliper paint as a base. Then airbrushed over that with kandy cobalt and oriental blue. Then clear.
Came out awesome. has that shimmer to it
