Yea, tried it on the Firehawk today. You can't go out very far or the bottom sticks out and makes it look like a cheap ricer body kit LOL. It looked like maybe 1.25" is all you would want to go. I always hated how from the back the tires look like they're hanging out.

Post 1 updated as well.
Update: so I tried it Friday night on a Camaro and a Trans Am. The Camaro I couldn't get enough flex to actually use my bracket, and when I flexed it a little all it did was bow the bumper in more between the upper mount and lower flare, and make it look cheap. The bracket worked on a Trans Am, BUT it looked ugly as hell (as somebody said, it looked like a cheap ricer body kit).
Based on this test, I've come to the conclusion that this only works WELL for V6/Formula bumpers.
I took before/after pics of my car using a tripod, but again, it was at night. I also took a partial-daylight pic and a full daylight pic.

Agreed. Looks WAY more aggressive. Not sure it would work though on a car with a body kit (like the W68 optioned V6's).
I'm the third owner of my car, but as far as I know, some crazy Canadians in St. Therese, Quebec painted it. Pretty good job too. The only non-factory painted panels on my car are the front bumper (MAYBE), hood, and drivers side mirror. The rear passenger quarter MAY have been repainted at one time, but if it was, it was repaired FLAWLESSLY (PERFECT paint match to the rest of the car, orangepeel, color, metallic flake, basecoat/clearcoat, shine, etc. etc.).
Would you believe the body has 173k miles on it?

yeah, figured. Looks like rolling the rear wheel well lips are the only way to go about widening our t/a bumpers appropriately. Good job for spreading the word about widening Formula bumpers. Cause LORD KNOWS Formulas could use a little extra help in the cosmetics department

Bassani true dual setups have a tendency to do that due to the dual in/dual out muffler design with clamps holding everything together, along with an odd design. Carbonfiberbird welded extra brackets on to prevent the exhaust outlets + tips from getting misaligned over time, as well.

I red this thread and went outside and looked at my camaro and i just tested it out with a couple of pieces of wood i think it looks great. now i have to figure out how to make it with metal cause obviously wood wont last.

I don't have access to a drill press or a grinder until this coming weekend (June 4th) since they're at my parents house. I'll make a write-up with pics this coming weekend.
Nope. Went to put my Firebird/Formula brackets on a Camaro and they were way too big. No pics until I can make some sized for a Camaro.
PM me with the measurement (inches or millimeters) from bolt hole to bolt hole for what you think looks good. The distance needed for a Firebird/Formula is different than a Camaro or Trans Am. I'll make some metal brackets based on that measurement and test them on a Camaro to get some pics.
