Default blended ground effects

I finally got around to a little project I've been planning for a while. I know most of you don't like ground effects, but I like mine, and I'm not going to get into that discussion now. What I did was take some polyurethane sealant and fill the gaps where the ground effects meet the body. I sanded it smooth best I could, then painted it. I didn't have a whole lot of the stuff. If I had, I could have taken things a bit further with how far I wanted to blend it, but all the same, I believe it is a drastic improvement. I did it for strength as much as appearance. Also, I repainted the right front fender. The clear coat had started comming off. It was completely gone in places - looked really bad. My side view mirrors were black, I painted them too.

Looks good man, I too prefer the look with the factory ground effects. Once i save up some cash I need to pick up the front pieces haha.

Looks good. I like body-color mirrors on a Camaro and hate the black so you scored points there anyway! It'll surely make drying your car easier and you'll get less gunk getting built up behind those pieces.

What product did you use? I've pondered this as well, and it definitely smoothes out the car. Nice work!

I ended up using 3M polyurethane sealand 560W - cartridge so I can squeeze it out with a caulking gun. I got it from drillspot.com for $11.85 a tube.
