I have 1999 z28, My favorite set up is 18 inch rear corvette rims using a 1 inch and 1/4 spacer. So it brings the rims out. It rubs when I make turns into driveways. I have always put spacers in the springs and rolled the fenders. Can I do away with that method by putting bigger springs in. Thanks

if you get the correct size rim with the right offset you dont need to do any of the above. you can fit 18x9.5 in there with no rubbing on a lowered car 275 tire all for corners and youll be fine with no rolling fender or BFH mods

My favorite rims are the c5 wagon wheels chrome. I can put a 1/4 inch spacer to make them fit but I always put a 1 1/4 spacer to bring them out for a wider stance. Then with the sub box in the back it lowers the rear a little. I haven't put the c5 rims on yet, the car is currently lowered and I'm going to raise the rear with the stock springs or hopefully something bigger so I don't have to roll the fenders.

maybe try just a little less of a spacer? the wagon wheels are small rims, 18x9.5 in the back.. they have the correct offset as well.. with a 275/35 i dont see it rubbing. that inch and 1/4 must be causing it to just barely hit that quarter. try a 1" spacer? or are you set on the exact 1 1/4"? otherwise stock springs are your option but if its gonna rub even on a hard enough bump it could rub
