Sanding? I'm in the process of getting my car painted and wanted to know what prep work must I do so that it can be ready for paint. The car has primer spots from previous body work and also has a little peeling paint on one of the quarter panels. I wanted to know if it is possible to paint over the existing paint or what is my best option in getting it prepped for paint for the least amount of money? In new to this and this car is sort of my learn how to car so I'm really looking forward to learn. Any help is appreciated like what sanding paper grit and all of that. I've got the rest of the summer to finish my car and would like to have a learning experience before I go back to college. I will not be painting the car myself but am planning to get the body ready for paint. Thanks for reading.
