Default Help fitting a fire hawk hood onto a 1998

I decided to take my car in for the insurance to fix the bumble up someone did in a parking lot. I wanted to upgrade to a ws6 hood, the one I god was ruined by the shipper. Now I've found a firehawk hood, but the body shop is concerned about how the nose needs to be trimmed around the RA ducts. I've read it's just an inch or so. Does anyone have the repairspecs or what it takes to fit one on? I plan on calling SLP in the morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I spoke with SLP and they said it wasn't major surgery, just grinding some of the lip off, but wasn't real specific.
