did some research some nissan and infiniti have the paint.
Here what i found
They call it Scratch Guard. It's basically a coating as thick as a normal coat of paint which goes over the clear coat of your car. The paint will fix itself after it had experienced a scratch that has not penetrated the Scratch Guard coat; allegedly pouring hot water over the affected surface speeds up the process. The Scratch Guard basically contains a highly elastic resin that mends itself over time when it is exposed to a heat source such as the sun.
So really deep scratchs it can't fix it

There's also a company experimenting w/ an enzyme that actually re-grows itself in order to fix a scratch. Some of the **** car companies look into...
Just another "something else" added to the car that will drive up the price.

wonder how the paint will react if you get in an accident and the shop has to blend adjacent panels..... essentially if sanding is basically putting scratches in it how will it stay prepped?
