Default From 3 tone to this!

Well I got the car not too long ago and it was crashed in the front so I found a parts car and replaced all the necessary panels and had it painted. Looks a 1000x better. Now I can drive it and not feel like a deuch. It's not perfect but it's pretty dam good for what I paid. I'm going to actually drive it so no point in it being perfect.

No, although I did think about doing it in my garage, I finally found a good guy that was reasonable. He sprayed the clear on thick and wet sanded it and then polished it. All for under 3k

Looks good and that is a hell of a deal. What did he do with the sail panel? I see he took it off and it looks like he fiber glassed it. Did he just glass over it or cut that section out and mold his own piece there?

It was a 6LE one and it was wavy, thats how he straightened it out. He ended up doing the sides too.

Looks great. Glad to see that they took there time on the sail panel, that says something for there labor. Do you know what paint materials they used? I ask b/c you mentioned you wanted to let it cure b4 you washed. Certain clears will cure faster ie. water base vs solevent......... Rule of thumb wait the longest you can. Hold off on waxing or using a sealant for atleast 3 months. Should be safe w/ a non wax ie 3m hand glave or hand polish. They contain no wax, they will allow the paint to volatilize. You can apply them after washing to keep it looking spray booth fresh.

I think he used PPG 2021 clear not sure though he told me when he first started but that was about a month ago. I talked to about 8-10 shops when I was looking. Most of them have never done a whole car and didn't want to touch it. The ones that did were out of their mind with their price.

As to putting a Supra spoiler on it
