Default what color should i do

i go to autobody school.and i get to paint my car after thanksgiving.the car has cheap macco paintjob on it.so i am going to strip it all down and start all over again.can't make up my mind what color to do.not doing black or white.car is currently black.so help me make up my mind

I vote red, im not biased ive had black green blue and silver f-bodies lol

First off, what colors have you thought about? Any in mind? I would say Artic White but, you know, lol. But really though, are you wanting a factory type color, one off?

IMO make a custom color, dont go with red, black, silver, white. I was in auto tech and made a custom color cant find the paper of the paint i used but to me its very very nice color.... its like a dark greenish blue...with gold,red,silver specs and totally amazing.. still kick my self in the *** for losing it

yes i do have few colors on mind.the ford E9: crystal red metallic tintcoat:this is on new corvettes,or some type of blue.and going to do hockey stripes.sense its t-top gonna do mostly likely cherry black.and the hood nose black so unleast something can match with the door jamb.i dont think my instructor will let me do that but gonna try to talk him in ti it.lol
and maby little bit airbrushing on the hood.

I've always loved my first fbody color, Mystic Teal Metallic and since your a SS, it would be the first

Don't do E9 it fades badly check out ford g2 or u6, GM 505q and I believe 501q, for darker marroon maybe Honda R529p or R530p.

X 2 on E9, plus it is a real bitch to do a spot repair on later...very hard to match. I vote for the hugger orange or ford code GW...orange crush. Chuck

Dont do a factory color. Make it unique and stand out. I vote bright color such as orange, or blue.

i did my ls6 intake laser blue met just to c how the color was.and it came out really good.ill post sum pic in while.but most likely the color going to be some type of blue.i really want some pearl in there and airbrusing.but my budget wont allow me.and yeah e9 i aint doing tht.

That blue looks good, maybe you can do black in the center of the hood n airbrush in white n put some cobalt candy blue over the airbrushed white, do the rest of the car in that color that way u can have your airbrush work n the main part that blue so it won't be much more money.
