Default eBay sunoco style hood????

Has any one ever bought an eBay sunoco style hood for fbody camaro? I've been tempted to buy one. Wonder how well they would fit I understand that it will need prep work. Have a couple of bucks left from my turbo build and while I'm at it I'll make my car look better thanks!

I have one. I sold it when I was going through my divorce, the guy that bought it from me said it didn't fit right.

I still have it, if you are close to Pasadena and are interested in seeing it.

General consensus seems that the hoods from that ebay seller hoods4sale are 1) knockoffs from the original and 2) cheap, crappy-fitting pieces.

i got one (offered him $100 and he took it) was broke at the time and needed a hood for inspection. It looks good and stuff but fits like ****, the curvature from front to back is way off the pass side front and rear corners are both about 3/4" high until I did some major mods to the hinges and such

99% of the hoods on fleabay are junk, the money you will save on the hood will cost you twice as much when it comes time for bodywork and paint, so not worth it imo unless you can do bodywork and paint
