Default New paint falling off?

A few months back I got the opportunity to get a good deal on having the body shop next to where I work paint my front bumper and a few other places on my car. Well today when I was waxing it I noticed the paint is just falling off in places on the front bumper
Can anybody tell me what this is from? On the parts where it is coming off the paint is as thin and frail as a dead leaf and just flakes off. There are also bubbles starting to come up with holes in the middle of them.
Could it be from them rushing and not doing something right or using cheap paint?
They are a good body shop and are restoring a lot of old cars so im very disappointed to say the least.
Here are some crappy pictures:

Poor prep or they let the window from the sealer run out, either way take it back n make them fix it.

If They're a legit shop take it back to them they should warranty it. Shouldn't cost you a dime. Poor prep or bad sealer looks to be the cause.

Well it was one of those help a friend out for really cheap kinda thing so I cant just go raise hell or I would. Im just going to talk to him next week ask what went wrong and see if we can re-do it.

I got my rear bumper painted at a different shop when I got the car. The shop wasnt even that good but it turned out great and it has been on there a year with no problems.

It got painted at the end of august and all Ive done since then is the normal washing and quick wax spray after I dry it off like ive always done. The other day was the first time I was going to wax it.

Just don't wax it within 30 days of getting painted. Has to set for a while...

But a spray wax would prob be ok, I'm talking about like a paste wax. I'd double check with the shop just to make sure though...

Yeah I didn't even wash the car for a few weeks after they did it just to be safe and then I saw this when I went to wax it for the first time

Wax didn't do it. I washed and waxed my car a couple of weeks after getting freshly repainted.

if you wax fresh paint you can pop the clearcoat due to the solvent still trapped under the wax. I tell my customers to wait at least a month before waxing. even sprayon wax seals the paint and can cause problems. that paint flacking off looks like poor surface prep to me too.

we always tell our customers to wait 90 days before waxing but either, or should wait awhile before waxing in order for the paint to cure

Sounds and looks like one of those, "you got what you payed for" situations.
