Default fiberglass paint stripper

whats the quickest and most effective way to get the paint off of fiberglass without damaging the fiberglass?

you dont have to strip the paint completely just sand it with 180 or 220 grit on a DA

are these gelcoated? im having one hell of a time getting the clear off of the door and underneath it is just wierd to me... never seen paint like this... it seems like.... gel lol

I tried the fiberglass paint stripper big pita Get a da sander and some good 220 grit itll be white smc then black primer The ram air hoods are gel coated I just stripped my whole 95 tran am The paint remover is in the corner waste of 30 bucks sanding is the best Youve gotta wait like 2 days to paint & it could ruin your panel if ya screw up & forget about it Hope this helped ya

i turned to sanding the whole thing... used a paint wheel on the hood and rear quarters and using a DA on the glass... only have the front pass qtr, pass door and half of sail panel done in two days... this is all happening in free time tho... stupid me f'd up and took the paint off the metal first... hmmm guess whats starting to flash rust??

Get some epoxy primer on the rear qtrs If you need any filler do it before you spray the epoxy primer Or some self etching primer I am so ready for it to be painted lol
