Default SS spoiler

I'm replacing my spoiler with an SS Spoiler and I Looked underneath the plastic backing under the lid and saw the yellow one way plastic screws. Do I just tug on the plastic backing as hard as I can or what?

It's a little chilly here in Canada so I'm worried about snapping the plastic backing. Anyone know any tricks to getting the backing off?!

Thanks fellas!

I just puled mine down and then when I put it back up the "pine trees" get lined up with the holes and it goes back together fine. I pull mine down in sections, start in the middle and go out but leave one on the right and one on the left so that it supports its self. Then tug and it will come right off.

I think you should be fine, worst case you have to buy a few new ones, they are cheap.

You can get these flat plastic or metal panel prying tools that make the job easier. I got plastic ones, so as not to scratch anything.
