Default TA bumper cover dimple

Ive seen this more on the LT1s but some LS1 covers have it too - a dimple at the bend where the bumper cover meets the fender. Mine on the driver side is so severe, it is cracking the fender. Is there any was to repair this?

Perhaps gently heating up the area and pushing out from the inside?

Thanks

That's the fender bracket, get a new one or bend it out. I had the same problem and I just bent the bracket out and it fixed it.

Really? Not doubting you but I remember cars on the dealer lots with the dimples. Can you post an 'after' pic for me?

I hate to say it but I don't have any pictures but I ASSURE you that I had the same problem because someone bumped my car. First I bought a fender from from pull a part that did not sit like that on the parts car but when I put it on my car I still had the same problem. The bracket didn't look bent when I pulled the fender back off but I said what the hell and pulled on the bracket put the original fender back on and problem solved. At least give it a try, I am sure you will be glade you did.
ps its not hard yo push in the ones you saw at the dealer could have been pushed in at any time.

Have you seen how those brackets mount? Almost too easy for them to get bent.
